Apply to be a Counselor

But not right now! Check back with us in January 2021!

Peacebuilders Camp at Koinonia Farm isn’t your average summer camp, and we don’t want average camp counselors!

Our seasonal staff is made up of adults experienced in working with youth who are passionate about peace and social justice issues. Counselors must be flexible, high energy, and ready for some long days in the hot Georgia sun.

If you are interested in working at Peacebuilders Camp, please first review the job description below to be sure you’re a good fit for the position.

We only hire three counselors each summer, so be sure to send in your application right away. If you have any question, please contact us.

Teen Leadership

Peacebuilders Camp at Koinonia Farm is excited to offer two teenagers a leadership opportunity through our counselor-in-training (CIT) program. This program is open to teens who are at least 17 years old. Volunteering as a CIT at Peacebuilders Camp is a great way for youth who have some experience with kids and an interest in social justice to get some real experience working in those areas. CITs are usually in transition from high school to their next steps, and we hope the CIT program is a transformational experience that influences their lifestyle, education, and career choices for years to come.

We are looking for mature, responsible, high energy applicants for the program. CITs are not in the background at Peacebuilders Camp. They’re right in the thick of things, and we need leaders who are ready for the challenge. We welcome camp alumni to apply as CITs, but experience at camp is not required.

If you are interested in serving as a CIT at Peacebuilders Camp, please first review the job description below to be sure you’re a good fit for the position.

Note: For applicants who have never made a resume before, we encourage you to do a little research and do your best to create your first. Please feel free to contact program director quayneshia@peacebuilderscamp.org with any questions.
