Application deadline is March 1
Peacebuilders Camp at Koinonia Farm is excited to offer two teenagers a leadership opportunity through our counselor-in-training (CIT) program. This program, which includes a $500 stipend, is open to teens who are at least 17 years old. Volunteering as a CIT at Peacebuilders Camp is a great way for youth who have some experience with kids and an interest in social justice to get some real experience working in those areas. CITs are usually in transition from high school to their next steps, and we hope the CIT program is a transformational experience that influences their lifestyle, education, and career choices for years to come.
We are looking for mature, responsible, high energy applicants for the program. CITs are not in the background at Peacebuilders Camp. They’re right in the thick of things, and we need leaders who are ready for the challenge. We welcome camp alumni to apply as CITs, but experience at camp is not required.
This year, employment as a counselor also includes a week of social justice Leadership Training. Before you apply, read more here.
If you are interested in serving as a CIT at Peacebuilders Camp, please first review the job description below to be sure you’re a good fit for the position. To apply, complete our online application form and email your resume (in PDF format) to email@example.com by March 1, 2019.
